The Portuguese Navy and EID, S.A. join efforts towards scientific and technological development, through the signing of a cooperation protocol for the next five years.
This protocol promotes the collaboration in innovation activities in the area of communications where EID has such a domain.
The document, signed by EID, S.A.’s CEO, Frederico Lemos, and by the Navy’s Chief of Staff, Admiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo, aims at sharing technological infrastructures, facilities, equipment and services to carry out research and development work, human resources training, laboratory experiments and internships of its staff, as well as the development, prototyping, operational experimentation and production of solutions in the area of communications.
