Between 27 and 31 October, the Training and Commissioning Session of the RoiP Box and the Soldier System took place at the Regimento de Guarnição No. 2 in Ponta Delgada.

This initiative marks the completion of the first phase of the tactical communications modernisation in the Azores and Madeira military zones, a significant step towards strengthening the Portuguese Armed Forces’ communication capabilities.

The EID team, represented by Delfim Veiga and Ricardo Rodrigues, delivered the training and oversaw the operational implementation of the systems, ensuring a smooth transition to service and reinforcing our commitment to supporting the Portuguese Armed Forces with advanced, reliable, and sustainable solutions.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commander of the Unit, as the Commander was attending training in mainland Portugal.
