YOUR ROLE
As CIS Security Manager, you will be responsible for defining, implementing and overseeing EID’s information security strategy, ensuring the protection of information assets, compliance with applicable regulations and alignment with business and defence requirements.
You will act as a key interface between IT, Engineering, Compliance and Management, promoting a strong security culture across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define, implement and maintain EID’s Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Ensure compliance with applicable security standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS/NIS2, defence-related requirements)
- Develop, review and enforce information security policies, procedures and controls
- Identify, assess and manage information security risks and vulnerabilities
- Monitor security incidents, coordinate response actions and lead incident management processes
- Oversee third-party and supplier security requirements and assessments
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments and support external audits and certifications
- Promote security awareness and training initiatives across the organization
- Report on security posture, risks and KPIs to management
- Work closely with IT, Engineering, Legal and HR teams to ensure security is embedded in processes and projects
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:
- 3–5 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity or similar roles
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.)
- Experience with risk management, incident response and security governance
- Understanding of network, systems and application security principles
- Experience working in regulated or high-security environments (industry, defence, critical infrastructure) is a plus
- Professional certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are valued
- Good communication skills in English

YOUR ROLE
This role will act as subject matter expert in contracts and will also provide legal support to the company.
The main goal of this role will be overseeing the entire life-cycle of customer and supplier contracts, from negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring that all terms and conditions meet EID and Cohort standards and goals.
- Provide contractual governance in the company, according to EID’s established requirements, commercial policies, and processes
- Ensure that contracts with domestic and international customers, suppliers and partners comply with minimum commercial and legal terms, and with the Cohort group’s corporate guidelines
- Manage effectively contract execution through its lifecycle, from issuance of internal authorisation to contract closure, including the contractual relationship
- Manage (review and support) negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners of contract terms and conditions, leading to contract award and acceptance, by liaising with business development, sales, supply chain, project management teams
- Manage the preparation of responses to contract conditions and supporting requests for bid approvals at, both, EID and Cohort levels
- Formulate and obtain internal approval for all agreements to be entered into a contract as prime or sub-contractor; Also, review and recommend inputs into all contractual commitments with customers, on behalf of EID
- Collaborate with different departments to negotiate favourable terms, driving cost efficiencies without compromising quality or service levels
- Support Sales Teams to improve the turnaround time for each contract request by implementing/following best practices to accelerate the end-to-end Sales process;
- Act as focal point of contact for resolving contractual disputes, in a timely manner
- Support the Supply Chain team with drafts and negotiations of sub-contracts for both goods and services
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:
- Degree in Law (preferred), Business Administration, Management or similar
- Minimum 3 years of experience with issuing and reviewing contractual docs
- Prior roles within Contract Management, Procurement, or Audit functions
- Ability to understand and execute contractual matters, understanding standard and non-standard requests, and proposing contractual structures and solutions
- Experience in managing the end-to-end life-cycle of contracts, including negotiation, execution, and termination
- Experience in bid management is valued
- Good computer skills, especially with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to work accurately in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written

YOUR ROLE
- Have detailed knowledge of the EID products for which they are responsible, as well as their accessories: their constitution, functionalities and capabilities;
- Acquire knowledge of the competition for EID products and the markets in which they operate;
- Define the roadmap for the products for which they are responsible: development of variants and evolutions of existing products and new product lines and associated costs;
- Monitor product performance metrics taking into account feedback from customers and After Sales in order to propose continuous improvements.
- Proposing the definition of product marketing options (configuration to be made available, sale of SW licences, manuals, etc).
- Leading the preparation of new product specifications;
- Analysing the life cycle and obsolescence of products and proposing end of life and logistical support;
- Supporting Solutions Engineering in preparing proposals and budgeting;
- Collaborating with the Sales area in presenting products and solutions and marketing them
- Working together with the design, conception, marketing and sales teams to ensure that they are aligned with the product vision.
- Supporting Project Managers in contracts for the supply of Products, Systems and Accessories.
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering, Communications/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Defence sector products, preferably communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in innovation methodologies.
- Critical and strategic thinking
