YOUR ROLE
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of software, hardware and CAD engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Team Management: Collaborate across the organisation with internal stakeholders, managing Team resource allocation to both development and customer delivery projects.
- Technical Strategy Development: Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with company objectives, overseeing the entire engineering development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
- Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Certification, Compliance, Budgeting and Risk Management: Ensure product development certification and accreditation together with compliance, and overseeing budgeting, risk management and mitigation strategies.
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:
- Education: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions within manufacturing industry.
- Project Management skills: Demonstrated track record in managing product development projects – planning, coordination and execution cross-functional projects – balancing technical, budget and schedule constraints and ensuring alignment with PM standards.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering research and development activities. Experience with embedded systems is highly recommended.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate integrated teams and communicate successfully within the wider organisation.
CHECK IF YOU ARE/HAVE:
- Electronics Engineering: Hardware, software and system engineering experience ideally in defense industry. Applicants with experience in some of areas of expertise such as analogue and digital design, RF communications, high speed and multilayer digital boards will be preferable.
- Cloud Platforms (optional): Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Cybersecurity (optional): Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, ensuring the security and integrity of defense systems.

YOUR ROLE
- Hardware development for communications systems;
- Development of real-time processing software (dedicated/embedded systems);
- Design of electrical diagrams and CAD-PCB follow-up;
- Drafting of technical documentation;
- Systems integration and testing;
- Possibility to develop solutions and products since the conception stage up to the final product.
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:
- Integrated Masters on Electrical Engineering with focus on electronics/telecommunications/digital systems/robotics;
- Knowledge of programming languages (C#, C++, VHDL);
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux);
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks;
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.

- Support analysis of customer needs and develop a set of system requirements
- Help to determine how existing systems might meet emerging requirements
- Troubleshooting, diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and other system problems
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications or related
- Good understanding of radio and digital communications systems
- The ability to troubleshoot complex issues, breaking problems down into component parts to identify and diagnose root causes
- Experience in creating both high and low level design documentation

YOUR ROLE
- Have detailed knowledge of the EID products for which they are responsible, as well as their accessories: their constitution, functionalities and capabilities;
- Acquire knowledge of the competition for EID products and the markets in which they operate;
- Define the roadmap for the products for which they are responsible: development of variants and evolutions of existing products and new product lines and associated costs;
- Monitor product performance metrics taking into account feedback from customers and After Sales in order to propose continuous improvements.
- Proposing the definition of product marketing options (configuration to be made available, sale of SW licences, manuals, etc).
- Leading the preparation of new product specifications;
- Analysing the life cycle and obsolescence of products and proposing end of life and logistical support;
- Supporting Solutions Engineering in preparing proposals and budgeting;
- Collaborating with the Sales area in presenting products and solutions and marketing them
- Working together with the design, conception, marketing and sales teams to ensure that they are aligned with the product vision.
- Supporting Project Managers in contracts for the supply of Products, Systems and Accessories.
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering, Communications/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Defence sector products, preferably communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in innovation methodologies.
- Critical and strategic thinking

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Good understanding of radio and digital communications systems

SENIOR ROLE:
- An operational and technical knowledge of designing and managing computer systems in a virtual environment and in an hyperconverged infrastructure context
- Network specific certifications such as CCNA or equivalent experience
- Advanced routing & switching knowledge: Have the ability to create network architecture designs; Hands on configuration experience of Firewalls, Routers and Switches; Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VRRP, IPSEC, VLAN
