EID closed the 2025/2026 financial year with a strong financial performance and sustained commercial momentum, achieving a record order book of €87.5 million. The company reported a turnover of €25.5 million and a net profit after taxes of €2 million, maintaining solid profitability levels and delivering a higher return on sales than in the previous financial year.
Strong Commercial Performance Drives Record Backlog
During the year, EID secured €55.3 million in new contracts, demonstrating continued customer confidence in its advanced communications and defence technology solutions. This performance has resulted in the company’s highest-ever backlog, providing strong visibility for future business and creating a solid foundation for the execution of ongoing programmes, continued investment in innovation, and sustainable growth.
Expanding Capacity to Support Growth
To meet increasing demand and deliver a growing portfolio of strategic projects, EID continued investing in the capabilities required across its operations. The company is implementing an operational expansion plan designed to strengthen its human, technical, and physical resources.
The plan includes a 50% expansion of EID’s facilities and a 35% increase in workforce capacity within the next year, reinforcing the company’s ability to develop, integrate, produce, test, and support critical systems for defence and security applications.
Investment in Infrastructure and Digital Transformation
Throughout the financial year, EID completed the implementation of the SAP ERP system, a strategic initiative aimed at integrating and modernising internal processes across the organisation.
The company also completed the redevelopment of two new facilities, adding a total of 1,200 square metres of operational space built to high-security standards and supporting future growth requirements.

Innovation remains a key driver of EID’s strategy. During the year, the company invested more than €2 million in research and development, focusing on areas critical to the future of defence and security technologies, including:
