EID signed with Navantia Sistemas FABA the contract for the supply of ICCS for the Royal Australian Navy´s Hobart class Air Warfare Destroyers. The signature ceremony took place at EID headquarters, with the presence of Mr. Alfredo Gordo, Navantia Vice-President and EID’s Executive Board. The Royal Australian Navy now becomes the 8th world navy using ICCS.

In the meantime, the ex-Largs Bay, who was sold to Australia by the British Government, is undergoing modifications on the installed communications system (including ICCS) to fit the RAN specific requirements, before heading down to Australia.
