The ceremony of christening and delivery to the Portuguese Navy of the offshore patrol vessel NRP Sines took place last July 20th.<\/p>\n

This is the third ship of the Viana do Castelo class, all of them built in Portugal. The ceremony was chaired by Prime Minister Ant\u00f3nio Costa. The Minister of National Defense and the Chief of Staff of the Navy were also present, as well as high-rank military and civil entities. EID, as the supplier of the ship’s communications system, was also represented at the highest level.<\/p>\n
