This is the fourth ship of the Viana do Castelo class, all of them built in Portugal. The Godmother of the vessel was Jessica Rachel Hallett.<\/p>\n<p>In the ceremony were present The Minister of National Defense and the Chief of Staff of the Navy, as well as high-rank military and civil entities. EID, as the supplier of the ship&#8217;s communications system, was also represented at the highest level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a great honour to attend this ceremony and a brand new Portuguese ship equipped with our state-of-the-art communications system.
