Visit highlights the company\u2019s role in technological development and its strong connection to the community<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Today, 18 March, EID had the honour of welcoming Dom Am\u00e9rico Aguiar to its facilities<\/strong>, in a visit of special significance for the company and its people.<\/p>\n

The aim of the visit was to enable the Bishop to familiarise himself with various institutional and business entities in the region, including organisations playing a significant role in technological and industrial development.<\/p>\n

The delegation, which also included Father Jos\u00e9 Carlos Eug\u00e9nio, Rute Santos, Lu\u00eds Milhano, Jos\u00e9 Carlos Silva and the Diocese\u2019s reporter Ricardo Perna<\/strong>, was welcomed at the company\u2019s premises with the programme beginning with a welcome and a meeting with the leadership team.<\/p>\n

A closer look at EID\u2019s activity<\/strong><\/h2>\n

During the morning, the visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the activities of EID, a Portuguese company with over four decades of experience in the development and production of advanced technological solutions for communications and electronics<\/strong>, with a presence in various international markets.<\/p>\n

Beyond its technological dimension, this moment also highlighted what also defines EID: its people, its roots in the region and its commitment to the community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Technology and industrial capability on display<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This was followed by a tour of the production area, allowing the delegation to observe first-hand some of EID\u2019s industrial processes and capabilities, as well as the work carried out by the technical and engineering teams.<\/p>\n

This visit provided an opportunity to gain a closer insight into the company\u2019s activities and the role that EID plays in developing highly complex technological solutions<\/strong>, thereby contributing to Portugal\u2019s standing in the engineering and technology sectors.<\/p>\n

A company rooted in its community<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With a strong presence in the region for over 40 years, EID has grown alongside the local community, with many of its employees coming from the surrounding area. This journey has been also supported by close collaboration with universities and academic institutions<\/strong>, fostering the development, recruitment and growth of young talent in engineering and technology.<\/p>\n

As part of the visit, EID gathered a group of employees for a blessing ceremony of the company and its people<\/strong>, creating a moment of reflection and proximity that reinforced the human dimension of the organisation and its connection to the community.<\/p>\n

Commitment beyond industry<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At the same time, EID continues to play an active role in society by participating in social initiatives and supporting projects with a positive community impact<\/strong>, reinforcing its commitment beyond its industrial activity.<\/p>\n
