EA-1025 Tactical Power Unit
EA-1025 Tactical Power Unit
The EA-1025 is a power unit designed for vehicular and command post communication systems. In presence of the mains 230 VAC supply voltage, the unit charges an external lead acid battery and provides five 24 VDC output circuits, used to supply the communications system it is associated to, and two 19.5 VDC output circuits for rugged laptops; in case of failure of the mains voltage, the unit keeps supplying the output circuits from the battery.
Each 24 VDC output is individually protected against over-currents, a visual indication being provided; the outputs to the laptop computers are filtered and fitted with self-recovering, over-current protection. The unit includes battery voltage monitoring with visual and acoustic alarm indications.
