The DS-101 is a docking station designed for easy and fast mounting of rugged laptops either in mobile or fixed applications. The unit includes shock absorbers and hold and release mechanisms designed for the Getac M220/M230 computer. Upon request, the DS-101 may be adapted to other laptop models.
The unit provides power to the laptop from a 24 VDC input according to MIL-STD-1275B; three RS-232 and one Ethernet port from the laptop are available in rugged connectors, enabling connection to the vehicle or shelter cabling.
