CDD-525 Double Remote Console

The characteristics of the CDD-525 Double Remote Console are identical to the CDS-525 Single Remote Console, except that it was designed to accommodate two PRC-525 radio front panels instead of one. The unit also features a loudspeaker with local volume control.

Furthermore, the CDD-525 provides an interface for a local battery field telephone and a rotary switch to select either one of the following features:

• Operator communication via radio A (radio B) with simultaneous data connection over the radio B (radio A)

• Operator communication via radio A (radio B) and simultaneous monitoring of radio B (radio A)

• Operator communication with the field telephone user

• Operator communication in full duplex mode via both radios, one for transmission and the other for reception in a different frequency

• Voice repeater communication between radio A net and radio B net

• Data repeater communication between radio A net and radio B net
