Afonso de Albuquerque, the Portuguese Vice Roy of India in the XVI century, sailed to Malacca in 1511. Once there, he successfully promoted the miscegenation of people and cultures. As of today, the date is still remembered as a significant landmark in Malaysian history.

EID and IMBEL - A strong cooperation

EID signed with IMBEL – Indústria de Material Bélico do Brasil, a company linked to the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, a cooperation agreement aiming at the local production of ICCS (Integrated Communications Control System) components for the Brazilian Navy warships.

EID's presence at IDEX 2011

ICCS in Indonesia

Palindo Marine, the Indonesian shipbuilder, placed an order for ICCS systems to be installed on board two missile fast attack boats, currently being built at their premises.

Digital switchboards for Arab Republic of Egypt

The Ministry of Defence of the Arab Republic of Egypt just ordered an additional batch of CD-116 digital switchboards. Following the delivery of the 3rd lot of switchboards in December 2010, this new order reflects the confidence of the Egyptian Army in our tactical products and strengthens EID presence in the international markets, in particular in the Middle-East.
