The Roger de Lauria frigate, the fifth Alvaro de Bazan Class ship, will be equipped with EID’s ICCS (Integrated Communications Control System). The contract was signed this month.
This will be the 26th system to be supplied to the Spanish Navy, which is currently the best EID customer in terms of naval communications.
2009 proved to be a very successful year, as far as ICCS is concerned. In fact, the system was selected for 12 new ships and submarines of the Spanish, Dutch and Brazilian navies.
